2.0The main bedroom was a good size and comfortable. The second room was also comfortable for a single room The cottage was in a quiet location. Within walkable distance (15 mins) of the main centre.
− The cottage was cold and after speaking to the owner we were told how to put the heating on (which we had been told had been done). It was 9°c!! Then on climbing the steep stairs the hand rail was loose. But on the way back down the rail came away from the wall and I nearly fell down the stairs. The heat took forever to warm up the cottage and it was only 15°c when we were getting ready to go out. At 6 ish. At this point we were offered to swap accommodation and come over but too late in the day to do that as we had a party already planned and had wasted lots of time already. Was offered a £20 refund on a £120 stay in freezing cottage. So no heating until bedtime @ Bannister dangerously unsafe TV only works to. Play DVDs Lock broken on bathrom Cobwebs on light and walls Stair light provides little light And the door bar between the kitchen and lounge wasn't fixed in place.
Comfy if a little basic, good for a short overnight stay. Parking lets it down as does the view of next doors bins, the
6.0Once inside it was comfortable and cosy with the basic necessities catered for. Very clean and a really good shower.
− Lack of parking and the overgrown frontage/ communal path to the property. It’s being attached to a boarded up property.
Great for a stop over. Would find a bit cramped if for longer.

− It had an unlived in smell that a house gets when it’s not used regularly.
