Wonderful stay in a remote, wildlife-surrounded peaceful environment, with home comforts.
10.0Great location, very good for bird and wildlife watching with moorland and a loch in clear view from the living room bay windows. Very comfortable beds, plenty of hot water for baths or showers, a heater in the living room for the cooler days, and TV and DVD for entertainment. Wifi was reliable and fast.
− Would suggest an air fryer as an addition for the kitchen, and some extra instructions to let visitors know how to operate the TV through the Firestick (digibox). Otherwise, everything was great.
Lovely quiet spot.
8.0Loved the peaceful location. Bird calls were a fantastic background 'soundtrack'. Lodge was spotless and ideal for 2 friends on tour. Both were able to have a room to ourselves and our own bathroom/ shower room.
− Nothing, really. There was a very friendly cat who kept trying to get into the lodge through the open door. Luckily, we both like cats. It would have been nice to see the owner, but we also appreciated getting the place to ourselves. We did ask a question via text, which went unanswered, but the question resolved itself.
