What a Gem
10.0Excellent location right at heart of Leyburn but tucked away so no noise. Plenty of parking. The highlight has to be the beautiful scenery. Just to add its an upside down house so bedrooms are all downstairs and main living area and kitchen upstairs so as to take advantage of the views. You can start in out in the private and secure garden and as it cools down and sun goes off the garden you can move to the conservatory to continue to enjoy the views . Then relax upstairs in the living room. The welcome pack was amazing and little pots of jam such a thoughtful touch. Best accommodation we have stayed at in Yorkshire, can't recommend it highly enough.

9.0Oaklodge House is an upside down house with the living quarters upstairs to make the most of the panoramic stunning views. The bedrooms were spacious and each had its own bathroom and small conservatory with chairs so you once again could enjoy the views with a morning brew. It was ideal for two couples. It was well equipped and spotlessly clean. It was in a great location in the centre of Leyburn in walking distance of shops and pubs and restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay
− We couldn't get the main TV upstairs to work. There was some discrepancy about the checking in time. On booking.com it stated arrival from 3pm, a few days before arrival I received a message to say it would be ready from 3.30pm but when I queried this said to just turn up at 3 and see if ready. When we arrived at 3pm they had just started cleaning it and it wasn't ready until 3.45pm. The cleaners said their properties aren't generally ready till 4pm so if that is the case it should state this on booking.com?
