9.0The VIEWS are so amazing that it doesn't seem real. We stayed in the three-bedroom house that had a large, wonderful terrace that we enjoyed in the mornings for breakfast. The beds were comfortable and each bedroom had a floor fan while the family room had an air-conditioning unit. Parking was easy. The host was wonderful for dropping off fresh bread and pastels da nata in the morning.
− The surrounding pool facilities could be up kept a little nicer. For example, there was a whole game room near the pool, but there were several cobb webs. The pool was clean, but the top boarder of the pool looked worn and had algae stains on it.

I think this is the most wonderful place we have ever stayed for so many reasons.
10.0The location is wonderful. The view from the windows, the terrace, the garden etc over the Douro Valley are breathtakingly beautiful. The host, Carlos, lives on the site and is on hand to help with any questions and queries. He was an exceptionally welcoming man and we were genuinely sad to leave this wonderful place. The site is at the top of a fairly steep climb up from the town so if you struggle with hills, a car is probably a good idea (we came by train from Porto so it was a walk every time for us, excepting a taxi to and from the station with our luggage). Talking of the train, any visit to Pinhao MUST include a journey to and from end of the line Pocinho and/or Porto if you didn't travel from there. Train fares are very cheap in Portugal and if you're over 65 and can prove it (eg Passport) then there is a 50% discount. Also when in Pinhao, take a river trip and visit a Quinta or two! Quinta da Foz is at the edge of the town and is well worth a visit.

Super godt, fantastisk udsigt, et sted man vender tilbage til.
9.0Super udsigt, god service, vi fik vand, brød første morgen og port tonic sidste på dagen. Vi havde booket 120 m2 med to soveværelser.
− Man skal være godt gående, da det er op af bakke hele vejen ca. 90 højde meter og det vejr gang man skal noget.
