Perfect spot to stay and explore Como

Thank you Giovanni for the very best week in your appartment ! We really enjoyed our stay and can warmly recommend it. Appartment is in two floors, italian style rustic with antique furniture. Bed is very good and aircondition efficiant and kept bedroom cool. Bathroom is also upstairs. Kitchen and small living room are downstairs. There is two terraces for your use only and the view to the lake is increadible beautiful. Giovanni is a perfect hoast, very kind and helpful, he picked us up from Bergamo airport - we didn’t have a car and you don’t really need it, because the traffic and parking in villages is impossible. Giovanni offered us his home made limoncello spritz and we really felt welcome. There is a small beach in front of the house where you can go swimming and bigger beach with sun beds and umbrellas is in the harbour of Bellano. Bellano is a perfect spot to explore Como. It’s very easy to reach the villages by ferry or train. Varenna is only 5min by train, 15min by ferry. It was wonderful to come back to peaceful Bellano after visiting the busyist villages. There is several restaurants in Bellano and you can walk everywhere from the house incl. grocery store and train station. Pictures are from the terraces☀️💛

Niezwykle gościnny właściciel. Cudowne widoki z każdego miejsca domu. Samodzielny dom pełen pięknych starych mebli. Kuchnia w pełni wyposażona we wszystko co niezbędne. Bardzo blisko do sklepów, restauracji, przystani promowej.

Spectacular views and a truly exceptional host

My 16-year-old daughter and I had an absolutely wonderful 5-night stay. The house was very comfortable for the two of us and felt like a cozy home away from home. Giovanni is an incredible host, his warmth and hospitality truly made our trip special. The location is perfect for those traveling without a car. It’s an easy, scenic 15-minute walk from the train station, and the surroundings are simply breathtaking. You have the lake, the mountains, and even a stunning waterfall nearby. We also found it very easy to explore the rest of the area; we took the train to Varenna and the ferry over to Menaggio with no trouble at all. The highlight, of course, was waking up to those spectacular lake views every morning. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer!

− The only thing I would change is the weather! It was mostly cloudy during our stay, but I suppose I can't blame Giovanni for the clouds! :)
