Posto magico
9.0Atmosfera bellissima, casa accogliente e caratteristica. Lo staff è stato molto presente e disponibile. Non è stato solo un posto per passare la notte, è stata una vera e propria esperienza di vita in una casa Norvegese. Consigliatissimo
− Niente in particolare
Ruhiger zentraler Ort, perfekt für Tagesausflüge zu allen Ecken der Lofoten.
9.0Tolle Lage, gemütliche Ausstattung
− gewöhnungsbedürftige steile Treppe
Wij komen zeker terug!
10.0Prachtige locatie, authentiek huis met authentiek interieur. Heel fijne sfeer. Goed uitgerust. Rustige omgeving.
Authentic old house, after some renovations it would be a real treasure but now it's just neglected
6.0-place is nice located in very quiet and beautiful area, good location to visit all islands as it's located in the middle of Lofoten -when you finally turn on all heaters and fireplace - there is really warm and cozy -nice living room with fireplace -bathroom was really warm despite it was in the basement -well equipped kitchen -contact with house administration was really good, they provided all necessary information; easy to collect keys
− - it looks like the owners made renovation over ten years ago and since then totally don't care about this place, it definitely reqire renovations, especially in the basement and kitchen -we have known that bathroom is located in basement and the stairs are steep but still, there is too much... it should be a handrail, also walls in basement should be renovated and make more clean and cozy -there is too much stuff everywhere, maybe the idea was to make the place more cozy but many of these things are simply the garbage, we didn't like artificial flowers, old newspaper's cuttings on the fridge or photo of dead old lady staring at us every time where we were in the kitchen, also there is simply no space to put your own baggage while there is too much stuff belonging to owners -maybe it's normal in Norawy, I have no idea, but we needed to prepare the house ourselves after we came, we had to make our beds ourselves (bedclothings were not put on), we needed to figure out how electric system works without blowing out the fuses; and the most annoying - the wailing fire alarm which welcomed us - I think they could improve many tiny details which would make the stay better, for example it would be nice if wood for fireplace was provided at least for one day
A cosy grandma's house
7.0A cosy traditional square-shaped house from the 1950s with a charming decor. Calm neighbourhood. A 15-minute drive to the Lofotr Viking museum. Well-equipped kitchen with beautiful Nowegian tableware and including small home appliances like coffee machine, microwave, toaster. There are heaters since it can get a bit chilly inside if it's cold and rainy outside. Apparently owned by a couple so it's nice to support locals instead of a corporation.
− The only bathroom is in the basement behind steep stairs, so I wouldn't recommend to someone who has issues with balance or something related. Also the basement has quite a strong smell of "potato cellar" (a smell of damp/mildew) so won't recommend if you are sensitive to air quality. Additionally not an ideal place for a very tall person since the ceiling upstairs is quite low. The handbook/instructions at the house could be proofread, some sentences were a bit unclear. The house has upstairs beds for six but is more suitable for four people because there are only four kitchen chairs, there is no dishwasher and the toilet and the shower are in the same room. The kitchen could use a new dish brush (the one there is quite stiff) and the knives could be sharpened.
