Good location and comfortable enough 3 levels house (narrow stairs)

Location: near shopping mall, bus station, 10 min on foot to centre or marina. Kitchen equipment, comfortable beds, terrace. Towels were changed in the middle of stay. Easy check in. Good communication with the owner.

− There is no air conditionair. it was really hot to sleep. No dush gel or shampoo in the bathroom. Narrow stairs for the bedroom and terrace.

Emplacement magnifique maison adaptable et bien équipé

− Le seul bémol que je donnerai, grande déception manque les doubles vitrages, et ça c'est dommage on attendait le bruit des voitures et des motos à partir de 5 h du matin c'est ça qui était dommage.

Good location - 3 min walk to the Plaza shopping mall, and a good brunch cafe (64 by Loft Cafe). 10-15 min walk to the old town. 5 mins to the marina. Easy check in - you’re given a code to access Keys in a lock box. The property also has a private roof top terrace, and the bedroom has a patio door to open. Overall very clean!

− The property could benefit from a few basic tweaks. 1) ensure there are a few basic toiletries. There were no shower gels / soap, and only 2 toilet paper rolls. For £400 for 4 nights, I expected at least a few simple bathroom essentials. 2) ensure there’s a brolly for the roof top terrace - Funchal isn’t exactly a stranger to rain. 3) make the property lay out clearer. There are two bedrooms but one is a walk through bedroom that leads to the main bedroom. The walk through room has a single size bed that’s suited for 1 person. The stairs are extremely narrow and steep, as is well documented in other reviews, so if you have young kids - avoid.
