Nice location

− Absolutely disgusting Cabin. It was not well cleaned prior. There were still ashes in the fireplace, crumbs on the table, spiderwebs everywhere and the most disgusting thing, dental floss and Q tip in the shower. The heater was really loud and didn't really heat the cabin. There were no plates or silverware or even a sink. The water pressure in the bathroom sink was a little bit more than dripping. The shower pressure was fine, so was the toilet pressure. The mirror wasn't cleaned either. We booked for 4 nights but left after 2. I would never go there again.

The location within the ponderosa forest and the design of the cabins

− Some of the lights did not work, the toilet did not flush proerly and it would have been wornderful to have some more kitchen appliances and a place to cook

although the restaurant site sid open 7 days per week, the hours were only until 7pm and it was closed on Tuesday and Wednesday.

− This was a very drafty place, and cold. All the windows had 1/4 inch gaps because they did not close fully. The heaters and air conditioner units are loud and very slow to heat, inefficient for the space and drafts. The only sink was in the bathroom. There is a microwave, but the website did not say I needed to bring my own silverware, plates, bowls, etc, whatever I hoped to warm food in. The loveseat and one chair were dark colored from the worn in dirt over the years. The bed had a memory foam top but still sagged in the middle. The bed quilts have been worn thin enough to resemble heavy sheets and we needed 3 on us to stay warm at night,

I had a good stay overall, but there are several areas that need improvement. The cabin seemed to lack proper maintenance—there was dust on the sheets, the floor could have used a good sweep, and the mini fridge was dirty when I arrived. I also had to clean the Keurig multiple times before it was even semi-clean, which was frustrating. Additionally, I wasn’t aware that I had rented a cabin without a kitchen or even a sink. This made my stay less convenient since I had to bring my own kitchen supplies. Clearer descriptions of the cabin amenities would really help future guests avoid this situation. That being said, I was still able to have a good time during my stay. With better upkeep and attention to detail, the experience could have been even better.
