8.0It’s a homely, warm, clean, well equipped and spacious house very convenient for visiting the harbour, Commercial Street and the nice cafes and shops there. A great shower.
Handy base for exploring Shetland.
8.0Nice semi in a small, quiet cut-de-sac with parking space to the front. Small garden front and back. Central heating kept the place warm. Good size kitchen with all we needed. 3 bedrooms, one downstairs. Smart TV for Netflix etc. Upstairs loo with good hot shower (very hot water!) 5 minute walk down the hill to the harbour area and shops etc.
− Very tight dining area, mainly because of the two large sofas and chair in the lounge area. Not a major issue but a family of four or more might feel cramped at meals.

10.0The location was good. Just a short walk to the historical part of town. The use of the shed to store our bicycles was appreciated.
− How to connect to the internet was confusing as there were two passwords left for us that were slightly difffrom each other and were difficult to read. However, the host responded to our request for clarification.
Really great base for our visit to Shetland.
9.0Clean, good storage, big bedrooms, comfortable beds. Kitchen well equipped with lots of extras like dishwasher tabs, tea towels etc. good location near town centre but still quiet.
− Dining table was a bit of an afterthought. Tricky for 4 people, impossible for 6. Only 1 bathroom created a bit of a queue.

Lovely, warm, quiet place, close to town centre.
10.0It was well-heated, well-equipped, great wifi, with comfortable beds and literally a 5-minute walk to central Lerwick. And Kathy the host was generous re checking in and checking out.
− The can opener didn’t work and we needed one :-) Hardly a disaster but a working one would be handy!
