Beautiful cozy cottage in the perfect location between York and Whitby.
10.0The cottage was wonderful from the moment we arrived. The smell of the honeysuckle was so abundant the moment we stepped out of the car. Everything was very clean and the cottage had all the amenities we could possibly need for our family of 5. The dryer was a huge bonus as this was the last accommodation of our 2 week UK trip and we had lots of laundry to do. The location was perfect for us between York and Whitby. Less than a 10 min drive to the nearest grocery and the Abbey ruins in the next town over was a fun surprise to explore at sunset.
− We were there during the heatwave and there was only one fan available. More fans, one for at least each room would have been great in that situation but opening the windows at night helped to keep us cool enough.

9.0Westow is a pretty village with nice walks around it. It is central to getting to York, the coast,countryside and attractions such as Castle Howard. The local pub does good food. The property is warm and cosy with a well equipped kitchen.
− Bed mattresses were a little worn.
