8.0Lovely thatched roof cottage in a quiet location
− Nothing
Superb
9.0The cottage was ideal lots of space and comfy beds
Very good
8.0Very old fashioned & rustic, we loved it but it's not for everyone. Loved the log burner, plenty of room for us all. Everything you could need really. We had a lovely stay. Ample parking & beautiful views surrounding. Lovely walks on the doorstep. Owner was very helpful when messaged & rang on day of arrival to check we had arrived ok..plenty of plates, bowls, cutlery,.cups etc
− Showers aren't great. Toilets feel a little unstable. Beware of low ceilings which is standard in this type of cottage.
Fantastic , recommend to anyone
3.0Great Location, Nice and quiet, good location for visiting local attractions
− Liked everything about the location& Facilities
Am ideal place to spend time relaxing with good friends.
8.0Warm and cozy.
− We would have preferred better shower arrangements.
Such a lovely month long stay at Burnt Cottage
10.0My children and I stayed in Burnt Cottage for a month long stay due to some building works being carried out on our home. Location was lovely but you will 100% need a car to get to and from shops it is not walking distance with shopping bags etc. Location is really lovely, fields for dog walks, horses in the neighboring field and a epic sunrise every morning which was just beautiful. My children are 19,16,13 there was plenty of space for us all and the two dogs, three bathrooms so there were no teenage arguments (Bliss lol) The heating system was great as we stayed in Nov - Dec it was chilly but very quickly it got warm. Too the log fire was a lovely addition which the children enjoyed of an evening on the extra chilly nights, so much so they now want one in our home. Beds were comfortable and plenty of fresh blankets and sheets provided. The host Anna is a very attentive host, always at the end of the phone should you need anything but completely leaves you alone unless you need her and when we did Anna was there to support the enquiry. We are now back home in our house although we are pleased to be home we will all miss the things the cottage provided - The sunrise and views being the biggest. - Highly Recommend This Lovely Cottage. Thank You Anna it was a pleasure to stay in your home. Love Claire & Family xx
− Really happy to say there wasn't anything we didn't like. - Only one thing to consider for your stay is, as it takes pets the garden is fully open to the private road so if you have dogs like we did; you need to supervise them as there is no surrounding fence line to enclose them so they could wander off or even into the field with the horses. We managed fine for 4 weeks just something to consider.
