Subpar for the money
5.0It is within walking distance to Penca beach, which is small and less touristy and also a close walk to the bigger Potrero Beach. Location is fine. Pool of the apartment complex seemed nice, we did not use them. You should note, there are around 18 apartments in the complex, so there will be a lot of people, even though it was fully booked while we were there, it was however surprisingly quiet.
− Check in was a mess, we waited for over an hour, host could not be reached. We only got into the apartment because we called 5x with Vacasa rentals and they were finally able to provide us with a code for the key box. Upon entrance there was NO toilet paper, no soap, shampoo, conditioner and we had to contact the host again to ask for these absolute basics that were supposed to be there already... they were delivered the next morning at around 9am... View of the rooms are very mediocre, you are looking at a fence with barbed wire.
