Last year we stayed at Heu's Monte for 8 nights - we enjoyed our stay so much that this year we decided to stay for 14 nights (and had a week at Burgau prior to this). We didn't meet Helder (owner) last year as he was away working, but this year we enjoyed several chats with him. Helder is the perfect host! So kind, friendly and generous and contact with him was very easy via WhatsApp. We love the remoteness of Heu's Monte, set in a quiet rural area next to the Vicentino vineyard. Heu's Monte is very comfortable and is equipped with everything you need to self-cater. It is also in a good location for exploring sections of The Fisherman's Path. It was lovely to return to Heu's Monte after a walk and have the garden area to relax in. Helder - muito obrigado por tudo, com certeza nos veremos novamente no futuro.

Gorgeous place, very fog friendly with walks from door and easy access to the coast

Lovely house in large enclosed garden (perfect for our dogs) with comfortable and quirky furnishings and an exceptional host who greeted us and was on hand throughout to help with suggestions for trips out. 5 min drive to a beautiful beach and stunning coastline and nestled in vineyards and farm land covering this area

Excelente estancia

Nos gustó muchísimo lo acogedora que era la casa y sus alrededores, la cordialidad y atención de Helder, todo impecable. Desde luego que las fotos no le hacen justicia a la casa, es preciosa, con cada rincón es especial y el jardín muy muy amplio, perfecto para ir con perros, ya que está todo completamente vallado. Han sido unos días encantadores, llenos de tranquilidad, desconexión y paz. La playa está a 4-5 minutos en coche, desde el jardín se puede apreciar el sonido y la brisa que llega del mar, incluso se ve al fondo. Los detalles de Helder… son para vivirlos. Volveremos, sin duda. Un abrazo de parte de Alejandro, Ana y Otto.
