9.0Sehr schönes grosses Haus, mit persönlicher Einrichtung/ schönen Möbeln, Küche gut ausgestattet. Alles war sehr sauber. Betten bequem. Lage zum Volcano-Nationalpark ist perfekt, zum Einkaufen musste man bis zum nächstgrösseren Supermarkt jedoch 30 min. fahren. Unser Highlight war der Jacuzzi und die nächtlichen Waldgeräusche. Unkomplizierter Check-in mit Schlüsselbox.
− Teller aus Porzellan hätten wir schön gefunden. Es gab keine Spülmaschine. Die Heizlüfter sind ziemlich laut. Man sollte keine Angst im Dunkeln haben, da die Grundstücke im Volcano Village gross sind und man sich ziemlich alleine vorkommt nachts.. ;-)

Fantastic home in a secluded, tropical, rainforest close to Kilauea volcano
10.0This fabulous home in the tropical rainforest at 4000 feet elevation is surrounded by beautiful landscaping and privacy.. Located within a few minutes of volcanoes national Park and only a 30 to 40 minute drive into Hilo really provides the vacationer an alternative stay away from the warmer but crowded Kona coast. Excellent communications with the host. We all enjoyed the hot tub on the deck.

10.0Location was perfect, located down a quiet road within it's own gated garden. Lovely atmosphere. Listening to birds, frogs (invasive, I know, but fun to listen to). Only 3 miles from Volcano NP entrance. Super clean inside, well appointed kitchen, washer and drier, hot tub was fantastic after hiking. Host was fab, very communicative and provided any answers very quickly. Entry was straightforward. Bed was comfy, nice garden views. Loved sitting outside on lanai with breakfast / coffee / dinner
− Struggling to think of anything to be honest; perhaps the heaviness of the hot tub cover was a bit of a struggle! :-) Also not sure about the security cameras over the front porch / lanai, how often they are "on" etc.
