1.0Location was ok in a relatively nice street but not much nearby and about 10 minutes drive to town.
− Be aware, this is an extract from the Guest Instructions: “Rodents - yep, at certain times of year a few may visit the house and you’ll either hear the scuttle or see the bugger run right in front of you! There is bait in the ceiling and under the sink. The poison makes them want to drink water and they go outside to do that so don’t worry about smells or carcasses inside the house. Think of it as being part of the experience of staying near Tongariro river” It was not clean, curtains were filthy and ripped, food stains and particles visible on furniture and kitchen surfaces. There was a damp and unpleasant odour possibly related to aforementioned rodents dead or alive. Roden traps were placed on kitchen window sill. Barbeque was covered in cobwebs. We immediately found alternative accommodation and did not stay.

− Weird having security camera’s on when staying which doesn’t mention until booked & paid for. We booked for 8 people- towels/ beds were only made for 6 people. There is stains on the blue cover in dormitory room, this really should be updated to a new cover. Overall we had a great stay & loved the property.
