Spacious, sea-facing and perfect for a big group
9.0We stayed as a group of 11 friends and were pleasantly surprised by how big the property feels once you’re inside. The space flows beautifully, with big stacking doors opening onto verandas and sweeping 180° ocean views. The rooms are large and very accommodating, and the linen was clean and comfortable. An easy walk to a great swimming beach.
− The only real let-down was that the BBQ/braai facilities weren’t working. The property is perfect for outdoor cooking, so this was unfortunate. We reached out to the agent, but there wasn’t a practical solution offered other than using the kitchen. We also found the aircon instructions a bit unclear. In addition, no bathroom amenities were provided — only one extra roll of toilet paper, and no soap/shower products.
overall, it was very pleasant, location and view were absolutely great.
6.0− The gas braai did not work, we arrived late and had to use the little charcoal braai to make dinner at 9pm the Friday night, which was not pleasant after traveling for 7hours and everyone was a bit tired. The pool was half full with water, one would expect the pool to be full. The state of the washing machines and tumble dryer was quite shocking and looks like it never gets cleaned.

Great location and layout, good host with easy check -in and out. House lacking some basic comforts.
7.0Location and layout are great! Suitable for a large group, whilst allowing privacy too. Great communal lounge, sun lounge and patio. Fantastic view!
− The cupboards could do with a good clean. (Kitchen and bedrooms) Also we ran out of toilet paper and dishwasher tablets after 1 day. There was no milk, tea, sugar etc as well as no hand soap in the bathrooms. Small things that make a stay much more comfortable. In terms of security it would be good to be able to see an alarm overnight while at home and not just when you leave the property. The host was very communicative and accommodated our request for an early check in.
