Double booked.
1.0− Our stay was double booked. Upon arriving for check in at 3pm we met another family checking in. When we booked, we were told we would recieve check in instructions on the day of check in. When I messaged asking for the check in details. I then (less than an hour before check in) got a message back from host to apologise that there was a gas leak. We were 20 minutes from the property so thought we would check it out. Extremely disappointed as we travelled a very long way via boat and the host did not honour our booking.
A good base for visiting the dales.

− Nothing but to enhance stay it would of been nice to have a basic welcome pack ... I found shop around the corner but if we had arrived late it would be nice to have milk coffee etc

9.0The home had everything we might need and was clean. There were helpful notes throughout the property and a well equipped kitchen. They thought of all of the details. DVDs to lend, washing machine and drying rack provided, coffee, tea, eco-touches throughout.
− The location is very residential, and while only a 9 min walk to the store according to the maps app, with kids it's more like 20, so just be prepared to take a bit longer to get to a corner shop.
