Lovely quiet stay to explore local area

Very quaint, easy parking, very comfortable beds, nice lounge area with tv and dvd player, basic kitchen with access to shower and toilet. Quiet garden area. Bistro/pub within walking distance

− Shame that garden didn’t have a view of the countryside and kitchen lacked some basic cupboard ingredients

Welcoming Cottage In Tosside

Great location, quiet and relaxing. The cottage is well equipped; the kitchen is great, as well as the living room. There are plenty of activities to do, should the weather be inclement: books (great selection, I was pleased to see that there was a copy of "One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest" among other things), boardgames, a nice selection of dvds, live TV and Netflix. Both rooms were comfortable and the velux window in the master bedroom is great for sky gazing. We also made use of the outdoor patio/dining area, which we loved.

− Just a minor thing. Initially, on the original listing there was mention of a cot. It turned out the cot wasn't available/suitable so we had to source our own. However Kate, the host, was very clear in communicating this with us and she was very apologetic about it. In the end, it all worked perfectly fine and we've had a great experience.

The cottage was lovely, very comfortable. As ts seperate from the main house it gives you the privacy that we wanted. Very well laid out and had everything we needed. We took our very anxious German Shepherd with us and even he chilled out!

− This break was exactly what we wanted. It’s a very small village, set in a rural location. There wasn’t anything we didn’t like about it, we did our research beforehand and took everything that we thought we would need with us as shops etc are a drive away. If you are looking for a busy place this isn’t for you, however if you are looking to just get away from the hustle and bustle this is the perfect location.

A Perfect Weekend

What a place, what a location and what a fabulous host. Such a great quirky property. Had a 2 night stay to walk Y3Peaks. The property is in an idyllic location, so peaceful and wonderful scenery. It had everything we needed for a perfect weekend. Have to say the beds are magical and super comfy. Thankyou

Quaint cottage in sleepy tosside
