A Special Stay at Hemp Cottage
10.0Wonderful eco cottage in a beautiful location. We enjoyed waking up to the chickens and the duck! We stayed as a family of 4 and the cottage was perfect for us, cosy and relaxing. Tom and Rachel were excellent hosts and very welcoming, we would absolutely stay again.

10.0The space, which was designed by the owner/architect, was airy and roomy, fairly new and very comfortable. The grounds lent itself to relaxation, complete with a rushing river and chickens and a duck on the property. I wish I could stay there for even longer than I did. The owners, Rachel and Tom were extremely accommodating and warm. My daughter would visit at times and they would allow her to help with the chickens, and lend her interesting books. They even brought in cleaners once a month during my stay ( I was there for several months). The kitchen was also a nice size to cook in, and was well equipped. The only thing missing was a dishwasher. So, I ended up cooking a lot while I was there. I would most definitely recommend the place. And I would certainly return myself if my plans lead me back to the area.

10.0The location was very convenient to where we wanted to be. It was only about a ten or fifteen minute drive to Downpatrick, and about ten minutes to Saintfield.
− There were very minor drawbacks, such as the chickens leaving their “calling cards” by the front door from time to time, and there was no clothes dryer. Other than that, it was just about perfect.
