A fantastic house in an idyllic setting with all amenities easily accessible by car
10.0I hired the property for a long weekend with extended family. We loved that it was spacious enough for everyone to relax without being under each other’s feet with 2 living rooms with books and kids toys included! The pool/games room was a fantastic addition that kept the whole family entertained. The patio/BBQ area was also a huge bonus as we enjoyed a lovely family meal outdoors while the children played in the garden, along with the fire that kept us perfectly warm all evening. I didn’t take any pictures of the house as we leapt straight into holiday mode but the entire house was spotlessly clean and there was even a lovely welcome basket full of treats in the kitchen for us! The country setting was ideal - far enough out of the town to feel secluded but close enough to drive for anything we needed. Margaret and her daughter were absolutely lovely and we would like to thank them for such a wonderful stay!

10.0Stayed here for 2 nights with a wedding group and had a fantastic experience. The house was spotless, spacious and very comfortable for a large group. The beds were comfortable , facilities were excellent and the house had everything we needed .The kitchen and living areas were perfect for everyone gathering together, not forgetting the game room and BBQ area ,and the peaceful surroundings made it even more relaxing. Everything was well maintained which made our stay more enjoyable .Margaret the hosts was great very friendly , very accommodating and very easy to deal with. The basket of treats topped it up .We really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend it to anyone looking for group accommodation. We would definitely return again .
