The Garden was nice

− The noises, because there is no noice cancrllation at all. The mosk is very loud starting at 4:30 in the morning. Makes sleeling impossible

It is a beautiful property in itself - despite our negative experience. With some better cleaning, some curtains and a new bed in one of the rooms, the property would've been very nice.

− I don’t usually write negative reviews this harshly, but in this case I want to help others avoid a disappointing experience. We booked this house for one week with our young child and my parents-in-law. Unfortunately, after just one night, we all independently came to the conclusion that we didn't want to stay. So we left after one night. There were several issues with the property. The pool was green, the bathroom had a strong rotten egg smell, and showering caused the entire bathroom floor to flood. The second bed in the main house felt unstable and not safe to sleep on. The main bedroom was also very bright at night due to a nearby street lamp and very thin curtains. The biggest issue, however, was the location. There is a mosque nearby, and the call to prayer is extremely loud (do note that we were there during Ramadan). It happens five times a day, starting around 4:30 in the morning, and can last close to an hour each time. Our daughter woke up crying each time, and it made it impossible for us to sleep. To their credit, the team was understanding when we informed them we were leaving early. They acknowledged that information about the mosque had not been clearly communicated and offered a partial refund, asking us to pay only for two nights. Since we hadn’t requested this, we appreciated the gesture and felt taken seriously at the time. However, 2 months later, the refund has still not been processed and honestly I don't think it ever will be. Booking.com has confirmed multiple times that our stay was cancelled and that they sent the cancellation request to the property, while the hosts continue to say that Booking.com needs to take action and that they didn't receive such requests. We've been going in circles for months now and nothing is happening. Unfortunately, the one positive aspect of this experience has now also become another source of frustration. Don't promise a refund if you will not process it.

The pool and yard were great. Inside the villa was very nice

The grounds were attractive. The photos of the bedrooms were accurate but in the main part of the house there is only the 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and a lobby area with table and chairs. The third bedroom with outdoor bathroom is in an annexe away from the house. This might be a problem for families with children. Since our stay Booking.com has updated the photos to include the kitchen outdoors.

− It had been advertised as having 3 bathrooms but there are only 2, one of which is outside (which is shown in the photos). There is air conditioning only in the bedrooms. The kitchen is outdoors away from the house, with no door and only part walls so you could not leave food there. The indoor bathroom does not have glass in the windows and there was no screen round the shower so the whole floor got wet. There is not a spa. We had booked for 4 nights but only stayed one. The owner did offer a refund when he heard of our experience. Booking.com has since changed some of its description of the house.
