Do not stay at this property!!
1.0Location
− This was booked for my husbands 60th Birthday & was suposed to be a rest from his ongoing Chemotherapy as he has stage 4 Cancer. What a fiasco: Security - non existent/ unable to lock rear door. Door was open for entire stay. Shower flooded 1st night & came flooding through kitchen ceiling. It was coming through fire alarm so that was going off too all night.!!! Power cut for 3 hours. 2 showers for 8 adults. No one to contact after 7pm. Drainage problems throughout. Flooring tiles cracked in sitting room & I cut my foot open on then. Kitchen had not been cleaned, so we had to throughly clean cupboard, drawers & oven before eating. We have emailed Maison Parfait to no avail, 4 wks down the line no resolve. Terrible customer service. Paid over £1300 for 2 nights , definitely not a luxury property. So disappointed. Most stressful stay EVER !!! DO NOT STAY HERE!!
Location fantastic, property needs a good tidy up to bring it back up to the standard you are chargi
6.0− The whole property feel’s worn and a bit tired, broken floor tiles, missing towel hanger and broken toilet paper holder in one of the on suites, in washed oven tray, no hot water from the kitchen tap. Very scruffy rear garden area. The photos of this property have clearly been taken some time ago and doesn’t reflect the real condition of the property which I find unfair.
Avoid at all cost
2.0The location
− We was celebrating my father’s 70 th birthday The Hot tub was absolutely disgusting and filthy unable to use for two nights we had no working hot water in kitchen. wires were hanging from mirror in bathroom above sink damage to numerous tiles with tape covering the cracks desperately needs maintenance we was also accused of damaging a grey bedside cabinet il put picture of the bedside cabinet in images what we apparently damaged by sitting or standing on and was charged £300 for I would definitely not call this luxury
Good location, nice period features, not luxury accommodation.
5.0Good location
− This property is definitely not luxury in my opinion. The sofas and sofa beda were not clean and had large stains on them. The tiled floor on the ground floor had lots of cracks, leaving sharp edges exposed and as we were staying with children and dogs this was dangerous. The decor looked tired and in need of a deep clean. The fridge was dirty and mouldy, cobwebs and marks on the walls throughout. If your marketing a property as luxury then I would expect this to be of a much higher standard.
Very good

Beautiful Christmas Cottage Stay
9.0The cottage was so beautiful, decorated for Christmas with wonderful underfloor heating and heated mirrors, it was so cosy. The hot tub was a great overlooking fantastic views. The robes were a fab touch and gave it that added luxury. Love the slow close features on th e furniture, a piano and wood burner, all fantastic.
− When we arrived the hot tub must not have been on early enough. 5 hours later when we tried the hot tub it wasn't hot and we could only stay in a few minutes. We lost one night of enjoyment with it which was frustrating as it was the reason we picked the cottage, willing to pay more for this facility. It was a perfect temperature the next morning. The cottage was really clean, bedding, bathrooms, kitchen etc but there was an old yoghurt lid and dust behind the bin today which I had to pick up on arrival and some of the cups/plates weren't cleaned properly. A little attention to those details, proper and timely preparation would have made my review score a 10. Perhaps a turn down service also would have been a great addition.
