6.0The property was lovely with wonderful views. Lots of character - old and new! Lovely comfy beds. The kitchen had most things we needed, could have done with some oven gloves! Lovely big table to all sit around and eat overlooking the beautiful view. The house was large with plenty of bathrooms. A number of log burners which were welcome after a day out in the rain. Very cosy when inside.
− The drive into the property was dangerous! Having to compete a 3 or 4 point turn on a steep muddy road to get to the property. Very slippy with a wall to one side and a drop to the other. Very bumpy, hit under our car even when crawling. This needs to be made clear when booking! Would not risk doing this in the dark. If we had known how bad this was initially, we would not have booked to stay. Lots of holes/screws in walls. Wouldn’t take much to fill them in and paint over them. Not spotlessly clean, lots of dust and cobwebs in corners. Outside space needed tidying - arrived to a broken outside table and chairs. Some litter around. Some areas were incredibly slippy when wet! No secure area to let the dogs out. Could do with a little gate.
