Cozy Perfection

10.0

A wonderful small and cosy cottage, ideally located for exploring the north west coast of Cumbria! Its an ideal size for a couple and situated on an extremely quiet private track. The track to the cottage is a little rough but this will ensure you drive with care and consideration for the neighbouring properties. The cottage itself has an amply sized kitchen with all the utensils and crockery that you'll need, there is an excellent oven and hob along with a kettle, toaster, microwave, small fridge freezer and even a pod coffee maker. A good sized cafetiere completes the line up. A good size dining table with 4 chairs ensures you'll eat in comfort. The living room is cozy and has a good sized flat screen TV which has HDMI inputs. The log burning fire is absolutely superb - and will heat the area quickly. Lots of local availability for logs - hardwood worked much better and provided better value for money. The bathroom is comfortable, with an excellent powerful shower - an overhead rainfall head and a hand held hose spray separately. Upstairs, there is a comfortable area with chairs, books, board games and a record player with a staggering collection of vinyl for your amusement and pleasure. We found the bed to be comfortable and there is ample storage space for your clothes and personal effects. We didn't hear any noise from.the neighbours whilst we visited other than seeing them coming and going on occasion. You're a couple of miles drive away from Whitwhaven which has a large Tesco, Morrisons and several other stores for anything you forgot to bring! Overall, we found this absoluey perfect for a little post-christmas break from day-to-day life.

Nothing really not to like about this location.

Peaceful relaxing stay

10.0

Great location and value for money. I was staying for work but combined that with some trail running around Dent and Flat fells which are close by. A very comfortable and relaxing house with everything I needed. Nice to have the living room downstairs and snug upstairs.

Nothing for me. The bathroom being downstairs might be an issue for people with mobility issues
