A true haven that made our vacation perfect

We enjoyed a lot of holiday homes in the past 25 years but Casa Alma was really outstanding for us, looking for quietness, nature, personality and coziness without missing tidiness and a certain level of comfort at the same time. Laura was a perfect host. Check-In and Check-Out were uncomplicated, informative and very friendly and there was no need to contact her further for anything. Upon arrival we found loads of fresh towels, coffee, tea, spices, household and personal care products, tons of wood for the open fire, flowers on the table and a welcome hamper with fruits and wine. Apart from the fact that all amenities (electricity, hot water, great wifi etc.) worked very fine every minute during our 2 weeks stay, Casa Alma is extremely neat and well thought through in every corner. The sleeping room on second level plus the garden make the little house feel spacious allowing wide views in every direction. With a lot of sun and temperatures between 18 and 26 degrees in April, we always found a fitting cozy spot in the extraordinary beautiful garden - with sunny warmth or cooling shadow - from early morning until sunset, also enjoying fresh fruits from the trees. With very few neighbours in some distance (which you never see or hear), the spot is absolutely calm day and night. We will need to be back one day to try the open fire. Weather was just too nice to use it.
