Beautiful apartment which was to a high standard just a short walk to the town and the beach. Parking provided was a bonus.

− Not much to say. A set of sharp knives would have been helpful when preparing food but this was just a minor point.

The flat location, it is perfect for just about everything in Swanage

− I was very surprised having read when booking a ground floor flat, with parking on site to find there was six steps down then eight up to the front door,plus steps down to the twin bedroom. Because I walk with a frame I found the hotel opposite car park quite a walk uphill. I really feel the steps and car park situation should be mentioned in the advert.

Great views from the lounge and two main bedrooms. In the High Street but the only noise was from the birds, even though Swanage was very busy over the weekend. Masses of storage in the main & 2nd bedrooms. A great balcony.

− Although the property was advertised as 3 bedroom, the 3rd one only had enough room for a single bed & the door didn't even open fully. It also had the boiler next to the bed. Our 17 year old ended up sleeping in the lounge. The lounge area had a dining table but only enough seating for 4. The balcony only had seating for 4, so I think it was a bit of a stretch to advertise it as suitable for 5. For the standard/price also there was no welcome pack, which we are used to when visiting other rentals in Swanage, not even a pint of milk. The en suite to the main bedroom needs some repairs or replacement to the shower, the main head had a whole and the 2nd head didn't work as part of the mechanism was leaking.

Great position, clean and comfortable, but some issues with parking and user services.

The property was very clean. It was comfortable and convenient and a good base for our stay. Plenty of space and in a good position. We felt secure and comfortable.

− We were surprised that it was necessary for the guest to strip the bed and put out the rubbish. Surely that is part of renting the 'Holiday home' and one of the basic services when offering a dwelling for a holiday rent. We also had some issues with the car parking, as we could not unload or load a vehicle near to the dwelling, as there were double yellow lines outside the dwelling. It was quite difficult to carry all our items from the car park to the dwelling, especially as we are mature and have health issues and the car park is hilly. Better information on such would have been helpful, prior to booking.

The property was absolutely lovely, clean and spacious and right in the middle of the town so a perfect location! The hosts John and Ali were lovely and so helpful and answered any questions i had. Couldnt of asked for better accomodation.
