Good location with dedicated parking. Cottage is a really good size. Well equipped kitchen with fridge freezer, washer, dryer, dishwasher and microwave. Lots of original features including old fireplaces and coving. Outside space was nice to have.Lovely paintings on walls. Iron and board and hairdryer was provided which was fab. Host was very helpful and responsive.

− Peeling paint in back bedroom and hallway was messy. Some mould in areas as shown on photos. Front entrance was unfinished and smelled of plaster. Lighting very dark in dining room. Only small opening on any of the downstairs windows made it very hot despite being mild weather and had to have doors open which wasn’t ideal. Could do with some fans. Would have preferred cotton sheets as would have been cooler. Sofas are too small to relax on and some cushions would have been nice.

Great stayed at Heulwen

Stayed at Heulwen property last weekend and it was perfect for 4 of us. We had mountains and the seaside and the property is just a couple of minutes to a beautiful beach and a short drive and you are jn a Eryri National Park. The property is clean and spacious and in a great location with a good size private parking for our two cars. Wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you for having us.

Haus in perfekter Lage zum Traumstrand und dem Zentrum

Großes Haus in ruhiger Wohngegend. 2 Schlafzimmer und 1 Kinderzimmer. Perfekte Lage zum Strand in nur wenigen Gehminuten über einen Weg hinter dem Haus. Ideal auch zum Zentrum mit Geschäften und Gastronomie. Man kann vor Ort alles zu Fuß erreichen. Die Bahnlinie vor dem Haus stört nicht. Ein Parkplatz hinter dem Haus gehört idealerweise dazu. Die Küche ist "einfach" renoviert und umfangreich mit u.a. Spülmaschine, Trockner, Waschmaschine, Backofen und Gefrierfach ausgestattet. Schöne Auswahl an Geschirr, an Auswahl von großen Töpfen und Pfannen fehlt es. Heizung ließ sich gut regulieren. Sehr netter Kontakt mit dem Vermieter über die die Booking. com App. Schlüssel problemlos über Schlüsselkasten erhalten. Barmouth ist in der Nebensaison ein schöner Urlaubsort in traumhafter Lage mit einem sensationellen Strand. Auch für Hunde (Abschnitt auf Schildern zu erkennen) ein Traum.

− Die Feuchtichgkeit im Haus hat uns erschrocken. Im Eingangsbereich vorne (deshalb nur die Küchentür als Eingang benutzt), im Bad und an einer Wand im großen Schlafzimmer deutlich sichtbar. Es riecht auch im Haus danach. Das Haus ist renoviert, Küche und Bad neu. Lt. Vermieter auch ein neues Dach. Wir haben mit ihm diesbezüglich kommuniziert und er war sehr nett !!! Aber auch der Außenbereich war ungepflegt. Defekte, wackelnde Fliesen (Stolperfalle), Unkraut, schmutzige z.T. Plastikmöbel. Rattanmöbel mit Glastisch aber auch vorhanden. Man könnte so viel aus diesem komplett eingezäunten, kleinen Innenhof machen.....Vor allem da dort ab mittags ein toller Sonnenplatz ist.
