A pretty location with lovely views

nice host but she did not speak English. she was very patient with my Spanish attempts though 😀 The house was in a quiet location with lakes nearby and lovely views of town and fortress All the bedrooms were on one level The only steps were down to the pool and sunbathing area We found a lovely restaurant in town called Nelson’s which we would recommend

− The television did not show any English channels for whole stay. The hosts did try to fix but it required an engineer and due to a bank holiday it could not be sorted during our six night stay unfortunately the pool was dirty and not in season to be used which I understood but it would have looked nicer if covered or at least clean very steep drive up to property. we had a small car but something bigger might struggle

Scenic hilltop house

Great view, swings, scenic pavilion with outdoor dining space (outdoor kitchen included), pingpong table, checkin late possible without issues, cute neighbor's cat, ample parking space, and a cozy relaxing area at the pool. The house was very clean despite our short-notice check in, and we were welcomed very warmly with a bottle of wine and bottles of refrigerated water for each traveler.

− Matresses are quite hard, which is not suitable for everyone. Internet was a bit slow for our group. Double beds only had 1 double pillow each. The driveway up to the house is *very* steep, though the compound itself is flatter. And while the kitchen is very well equipped, it does not include a kettle.
