Our stay at Spring Cottage was absolutely exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by our host, Terri, who truly went above and beyond to make our visit perfect. Her warmth, attention to detail, and genuine care for her guests really stood out. The cottage exceeded all our expectations – it was beautifully and equipped with everything you could need for a relaxing short break. We were especially touched by the welcome goodies left for us in the kitchen – such a thoughtful gesture that made us feel instantly at home. An added highlight was the hot tub – a lovely bonus and the perfect way to relax after a day out. It was spotless, well-maintained, and made our stay feel extra special. We can’t recommend Spring Cottage highly enough. It’s rare to come across a host as thoughtful and dedicated as Terri, and we’re already looking forward to returning!

Beautiful home in a wondeful setting. My husband loved lighting the fire each night making it feel really cosy. We were really pleased to see the property decorated for Christmas. Very convenient ground floor bedroom and bathroom too.

Quaint wee village in a stunning location & delicious food in the lovely local pub. We only stayed two nights but I would have loved to stay longer & hike around the beautiful countryside.

− More towels needed. It said they were supplied but only a small bath towel per person was available. I took an extra one for the hot tub but my sisters didn’t!

Absolutely fantastic stay! I would highly reccomend.

The kitchen is very well set up with lots of high quality glasses, plates, cooking equipment. It was really nice to have tea and coffee provided. The hot tub was fantastic and very clean. Bedding was also high-quality and comfortable. The heating was on prior to our arrival which was lovely as it was a very cold day when we arrived. The village is beautiful and has a superb pub!

− Maybe some slightly larger towels and a few more. As we were using the hot tub a lot - one medium towel per guest was not really enough. Maybe some additional lighting on the outside steps down to the hot tub - it was very dark when using it in the winter afternoons and the provided torch didn't really work very well.
