Lovely family stay near the sea and a town
10.0We stayed at the White House for a family break away, 9 of us and a dog and found the house in a delightful setting. Parking is around the back of the house on a tight road . The house has everything you need for a stay with West Bay and Bridport around 20 minutes walk away . Nice pub 5 minutes walk away and a bus stop close as well as a supermarketand a brewery . House was lovely and clean with nice art work and plenty of space ,nice showers in every room . Lovely big table so we could all eat together. Just what we all needed .

10.0Very comfortable, well equipped kitchen, spacious bedrooms with en suites, great location to fabulous area, enclosed garden, everything clean, comfortable beds, brilliant utility room for cleaning dogs up before entering the house, plenty of dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid etc. Some places leave a tiny amount.
− Couldn't turn off light over cooker. Sensor lights in garden took a long time to switch off. Sitting room rather dark but not much to be done about that. Needs more t towels but we brought a couple of extras, still not enough. Needs a draining mat or similar, we used a t towel on the draining board to absorb the wet drips. These are all very tiny issues. Oh & I broke a wine glass, I'm sorry about that.
Very enjoyable but house could do with some modernisation, particularly in the bathrooms.
7.0Location was good and handy to West Bay and Bridport town. Plenty of facilities and equipment in the house which felt cosy. Well stocked "goody" pack on arrival added a welcoming touch. Lovely to be able to sit out in the garden and plenty of space for us all indoors too.
− The bathrooms were dated. Hot water was intermittent so showers were hot and cold throughout all bathrooms. Macerator toilets and plumbing system very noisy. The windows in the bedrooms became very wet with condensation and the de-humidifiers attached to the windows did not seem to work. None of the bedroom windows in our part of the house seemed to open so we were unable to air the rooms.
