The view was amazing

− Unfortunately, the customer service was extremely poor and left a very negative impression. Before we even arrived, I was already dealing with issues through Booking.com, where two transactions had been taken from my card. Then, on the day we were due to leave for our getaway, I received a call from Sea Breeze saying they had not received payment. Instead of Sea Breeze and Booking.com resolving the issue between themselves, I was left to sort everything out. This was incredibly stressful and upsetting, especially when we were due to leave within an hour. The check-in experience was even worse. We had informed staff in advance that we would be arriving late due to work commitments, and I specifically told one of the ladies about our late arrival. We were told to go to reception, where someone would show us around. However, when we arrived, there was nobody there. The only thing left for us was a key on the front desk. There was no map, no instructions, and no information telling us where our designated hut was located. As a result, we spent nearly an hour roaming around the entire site in the dark trying to find our accommodation. We were literally walking around with torch lights, checking hut after hut, hoping to find the correct one. At one point, we genuinely felt as though we were going to be left without somewhere to stay for the night. I even messaged a member of staff named Mary to explain that we were lost and could not find our hut, but I received no response. The following morning, the only explanation I received was, "I woke up late." That response was completely unacceptable given the situation we had been left in. To make matters worse, when we went to raise our concerns on the day we were leaving, there was nobody at reception to speak to. The lack of communication, support, and accountability throughout our stay was extremely disappointing. It's such a shame because the accommodation itself was fantastic but not the service!

Loved the surrounding views, and the hot tub! Local walks, and local town. Nice little lodge for a couple.

− It wasn't very clean, had to clean some areas. We didn't use the bath as that was really dusty and looked like it hadn't been cleaned or used for a while! Kitchen cupboards were grubby and the bedside cabinets were dusty. Headboard had some stains on, could do with getting a wet vac on there. Bathroom sinks underneath had toothpaste marks down them also. Had to purchase some cleaning wipes to clean areas that were not ckean. Didn't clean the bath though!

The view was spectacular, absolutely stunning. Quiet and perfect location. Mary was friendly and welcoming. The bath was superb. Loved every single minute of our stay

− The only small niggle we had was the pillows. Only one pillow each and these were very thin. But it didn't ruin our stay, we will just bring an extra pillow next time, no bother.
