Great base for a family ski holiday that was welcoming and warm and just what we needed

Warm and cosy cottage in a picturesque setting
9.0Generous provisions provided in a cute little cottage which was warm and cosy. Generous and responsive hosts.
− Not clean under sofa bed (which was broken - we were notified about this in advance and a new one was coming) but super comfortable mattress once this was taken out and placed on the floor. Leaky veranda roof (don’t leave your shoes on the deck in rainy weather).

Not quite as happy as I thought I would be
7.0It is a nice wee cottage but in need of a bit of maintenance. The treats were fantastic, chocolate, breakfasts items,ginger nuts etc .I am glad we got this at a discounted rate of $300 a night and not at full retail price. The books.Maybe in the summer it is a better place than the winter were you can enjoy the outside
− heat pump was noisey , it went through a cycle every 3-4 hours of being very noisy, it woke us up each night. The blinds in the bedroom fell down when putting them up and down-they are not screwed in corrcetly the other blinds need a bit of attention both in the lounge and kitchen The hot water almost ran out having a shower, only 2 of us. The stove is not a stove- the cottage needs a proper stove for long stays. the barbque was fantastic. The rubbish bin -which guests are expected to empty all there rubbish in it on departure, it is about 150 meters from the house and in minus2-3 degrees is not really acceptable.

8.0Was comfortable and warm, some nice details like fresh eggs and chocolate Good location, confortable beds. Nice surroundings
− Not a complain but we arrived at night and wasn’t any light outside so was difficult to see where to go. Parking spot was a little far away from the house. Not having shampoo or conditioner as part of the offering was a surprise.
