Benet was a wonderful host and even kindly arranged for a bouquet of flowers and a card to be waiting at the property for my mum, which was a lovely and thoughtful touch. The property was also much more spacious than the photographs suggest. The upside down layout worked really well, with two generously sized bedrooms downstairs, both with ensuite bathrooms. A particular highlight during the warm weather was how beautifully cool the bedrooms remained, providing a very welcome escape from the heat. Parking on private driveway at property.

− There were a few areas where the property could be improved. During the heatwave, the upstairs living area became extremely hot, and as the kitchen window did not open, it was difficult to get any airflow through the property. There was no air conditioning or fans provided, although fortunately we had brought our own. The keypad entry system was also a little stiff and fiddly to use at times. While the property was comfortable overall, some of the furniture and décor felt a little tired and dated. The cleanliness was also not quite to the standard we had expected, with some cobwebs and dust present, and a small amount of mould in the shower areas. In terms of supplies, only one toilet roll was provided for each bathroom, and the tea and coffee provisions consisted of just a few sachets of each, which felt somewhat limited for the duration of the stay.

The cottage was so well equipped and cosy but spacious. We loved the ‘upside down’ layout. It was brilliant for our elderly parents as both bedrooms have an en-suite and there is a further toilet upstairs! The walk into town is seconds and just a couple of minutes from the beach front. My dad loves the WSR as-well so the location couldn’t have been more perfect!

We had a great stay at the cottage, left feeling very relaxed. Furniture was comfortable,having 3 bathrooms was very useful and being able to park the car safely on the driveway was a real bonus. The location was perfect, near the town yet only a short walk to the beach. Definitely be booking again.

− There was nothing we didn’t like, we didn’t want to leave! Although this was not a problem for us as our dog doesn’t go far from our us but might be worth bearing in mind if you have a long car you won’t be able to shut the gates to keep your dog secure.

Beds very comfortable. Facilities were very good. Didn't spend much time in as we were meeting up with family.
