10.0The property is beautiful and exactly like the pictures. Beds were comfortable, one of the beds was big enough for two of us so we didn’t have to use the sofa bed. The neighbor was nice and quiet and door dash found us super easy. Only wish was that we could have stayed longer. WILL ABSOLUTELY BOOK AGAIN!
− Small thing was that the ice machine wasn’t working on the fridge but that was nothing crazy. Everything we needed was perfect
Charming, comfortable, and perfectly located—this historic home made our Valdosta stay easy and rela
10.0The house is in an ideal location if you're visiting Valdosta for any reason. One of my favorite rooms was the kitchen - it has a cozy little bench where someone can sit and chat while someone else cooks. It’s stocked with a good amount of kitchen basics (pots, pans, cups, plates), so you’re covered if you forget anything. Overall, just a really comfortable and inviting space. The bedrooms are surprisingly spacious (in my opinion), and each one has its own TV, which is always a bonus. Best part? The beds are actually comfortable - soft comforters and pillows that make it easy to relax. The dining room was another highlight. There’s plenty of seating for a big group, plus extra chairs along the walls. The decor is minimal, but it works - simple and homey. I especially appreciated the deep tubs in each bathroom. Just a heads up: if you're shorter or have mobility issues, getting in and out of those tubs might be a little tricky. The porch is a nice spot to hang out. One of the chairs felt a little wobbly, but the rest was great. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, aside from the occasional train that rolls by during the day - not a dealbreaker, just something to know. Overall, it was a great stay. The house was built in 1902 and has been very well maintained. It’s got the charm of an older home - creaky floors, tall ceilings, and big rooms - but still feels fresh and taken care of. The host was super nice, and we were even allowed to check in a bit early, which was much appreciated. I’d definitely stay here again.
− The main downside was that two out of the three seating options in the living room weren’t very comfortable. The gray couch—possibly a futon?—was the least cozy of the bunch. That said, there’s a lounge chair that totally makes up for it and quickly became the favorite spot in the house. Also, a train passes by occasionally during the day, which might bother some folks, but our family didn’t mind it at all.
Convenient, comfortable accomadiotions for a family.
8.0Location; ease of booking; great communication with the owner; plenty of basic supplies on site (toiletries, kitchen supplies, laundry, ect.);
− Master suite bed creaks and makes a noise at the slightest move. It was a bit disruptive for sleeping.
