The cottage and the farm were beautiful, excellent location, clean, very dog friendly (dog field, doggy bags everywhere, they even left a little treat bag for our dog!!) The drive into town is super quick so is the walk to the village pub! It’s a perfect base to explore North Wales. We also really appreciated the tea bags, biscuits and pint of milk left for us- such a lovely gesture. The cottage has everything you could possibly need for a self catering holiday, the kitchen is so well equipped, but the also offer some really nice recommendations- we loved the pizza place!!

− We loved the property, but there are a couple of things that could do with improving. Like others have mentioned, the mattress is quite firm, I prefer a firmer mattress myself and I found this one quite uncomfortable. The water in the shower is lukewarm at best, and we had no hot water in the kitchen/ toilet taps- given that this was mentioned before, I was quite surprised it was an issue, after a long day hiking the last thing you need is a cold shower. Another thing that could be improved is the transparency around additional fees.

It was a comfortable, warm, cosy property. Quiet and peaceful. In a very special part of Wales. Load of walks and interesting things to explore all with in 30mins drive.

− De host heeft ons vooraf overspoeld met berichten. Beetje teveel als je het mij vraagt. En ook naderhand over o.a. een review achterlaten. Als ik op vakantie ben zit ik er niet op te wachten om hele lappen tekst te lezen over mijn boeking. En 1x vragen of je een review wil schrijven is ook genoeg. Host fysiek nooit gezien. En er moest borg betaald worden, op zich geen probleem, maar dit was tijdens de boeking niet vermeld. Verder was het plafond beneden, in de slaapkamer, extreem laag. Dit stond ook niet vermeld. Mijn man is 2 meter lang en paste niet in het bed, en kon niet rechtop staan. Was fijn geweest als dit vooraf wel duidelijk/ zichtbaar was.

Perfect for a short stay to visit South Snowdonia.

Great location, very easy to find. Lovely and quiet even though other guests were in close proximity. Dog field was a bonus. Easy to walk to two options to eat within 5-10 minutes. House was really comfortable and thoughtfully put together. Used as a base to visit Snowdon, Portmeirion, Caenarfon, and Harlech. Local dog beaches wonderful.

− Best to food shop before you arrive as options locally are limited.
