10.0This is a beautiful, cosy cottage with many thoughtful touches, a gorgeous outlook onto the canal. The hosts could not have been more helpful and it is super convenient for so many wonderful walks and places to eat. We would highly recommend and will be back!

9.0Das Haus ist sehr schön gelegen am Kanal, sehr gemütlich und komfortabel und die Küche ist sehr gut eingerichtet.
− Wir haben die angegebene Größe von 82qm stark angezweifelt und schätzen die wirkliche Größe auf ca.60qm.Vielleicht wurde die Terrasse mitgerechnet. Die Lage ist sehr schön, man muss aber wissen, dass sich auf der anderen Seite des Kanals eine Straße befindet, so dass es nicht ganz ruhig ist. Obwohl das Haus sehr schön ist,ist der Preis für zwei Personen im September mit umgerechnet 230€schon recht hoch,insbesondere wenn man bedenkt, dass die Heizung recht sparsam auf 20 Grad eingestellt war und nur recht kompliziert zu verstellen war und erwartet wurde,dass man bei diesem Preis auch noch die Betten abziehen sollte.

Excellent base to explore the rock art of Kilmartin Glen.
8.0The standard of the kitchen and shower room was very high and the windows were very good at keeping out any draughts or sounds.
− The lack of the ability to screen the top half of the kitchen windows means that it is possible for people walking past to look in to the living room. This could be important for some people and could easily be addressed.
