Superb location, pool and breakfasts, house needs some safety attention

Great location, superb swimming pools, lovely to have local residents around us too. Complex has shops, cafes and restaurants. Easy to get Uber or taxi if needed. Beds very comfortable. Souhail purchased food for us due to late arrival which was great. Julia came every morning and provided a huge breakfast and was so lovely, thank you Julia. Initial impression of property was 5/5 however problems became apparent during the week. Souhail was contactable but maybe didn’t take our concerns seriously enough.

− Kitchen needs updating and is unsafe-electric shocks from oven and coffee pot when spout accidentally contracted with metal on kettle. Oven was useless, chips failed to cook on highest setting in 40 mins. Water leak in bathroom and toilet-required bucket in lounge and unable to use for most of holiday. Downstairs toilet not properly plumbed in-unique flushing system!! Electric sockets gaping off wall and many didn’t work, also child got electric shock from one on roof top when touched it.

Beautifully decorated and good range of facilities but no hairdryer

− The smell in the upstairs bathroom- I think there maybe some blocked drains

Lovely big property with comfortable beds. However limit the amount of cars you bring.

The keys were easy to access from the key safe at the front door.

− There is only one parking space however we travelled with multiple cars and parking was almost impossible close by. Most of the roads have double yellow lines.

This is a lovely home, less than a 10minute walk down a gentle hill into the town centre. The parking space is a real bonus. The lounge/kitchen is below street level at the front with the kitchen facing the garden. It was nice and cool considering the 25c heat outside! Check in instructions were easy, and lots of local info was provided which we found really useful. The shower pressure was great, and the bed comfy.
