Charming characterful high-quality cottage

9.0

Beautiful, quaint cottage with atmosphere and charm, and a sun-kissed private garden. Just 2 mins from a great pub serving good food and in the heart of a truly picturesque village. Kitchen and bathroom well equipped and beautiful Bramley toiletries. Comfortable beds. Dog friendly.

I don't understand some reviews posted here! This is a charming 'olde worlde' cottage but with all mod cons including freesat tv, open fire, coffee machine etc. We parked outside for 5 mins to just unload, and then were happy to leave car in village where there's plenty of free parking. Yes, 2nd bedroom is very snug.

Very pretty cottages to stay in

10.0

Very pretty cottage with two bedrooms (the master bedroom does not face the street), a well-equipped kitchen, a cosy living room and a pretty garden with several seating areas. The shower was also great. Quiet location in a small village just a few minutes' walk from the local pub. When we had questions about the heating in one room, the property manager came over that same evening and sorted everything out.

Everything was fine. Parking on the street is ok, if you pay attention to local traffic, but it's quiet at night.

Nice cottage in lovely village

8.0

Very atmospheric/cute 16th century cottage nicely updated for modern convenience. New kitchen with dishwasher, clothes washer new oven and fridge. Nice little garden with outdoor furniture. Walking distance to pubs/restaurants. Lovely village.

Dirty and worn sofas. Some pots and pans old and scratched. It is possible to park a small car in the back garden if some furniture were rearranged but we were directed to park on busy narrow road or remote car park.
