− One bed is very low, one very high. OK, for us, but less agile people may have struggled. We also couldn't get BBC channels on bedroom TV.
Excellent cottage, would stay again
8.0Lovely location, excellent showering facilities, really lovely kitchen with more than enough equipment. Clean. Everything was easy to operate. Great location and a lovely cottagey feel. Main bed very comfy.
− The second bed is far too low and uncomfortable. Lots of spiders and cobwebs so I didnt get the impression that a cobweb brush had been used.

Extremely comfortable stay at very pleasant and well maintained property in a peaceful setting.
8.0The property was generally very well appointed throughout.
− The oven cooker hood requires attention. The extractor fan filters need to be cleaned and/or replaced. They were dripping fat splashes onto the kitchen hob. In addition, there are a few minor suggestions that would doubtless provide useful improvements for future hirers etc.. * Coat hooks on the doors in the bedroom(s) and bathroom so that you can hang up a dressing gown or modesty robe. * A chair in each bedroom to assist when dressing and putting on footwear. Our elderly family member struggled when attempting to put on/take off footwear (slippers etc..) in the morning and at bedtime. This particularly problematic in the bedroom with the high rise four poster bed. * Whilst the kitchen did have a dishcloth, scourer and tea towel for drying up there was no hand towel to dry your hands on after hand washing/washing up duties etc...

Good on the whole despite bed access difficulties.
8.0Mostly good facilities. Clean and warm. Shower good, though over a bath. Plenty of crockery. Good cooking facilities. Quiet location.
− Television in lounge only working for CDs (none supplied) no TV on that one. Beds - one very high, over a metre off the ground., hard to access. The other very low. Both difficult for elderly visitors. Lighting too poor for reading in the lounge. No instructions for dishwasher, couldn’t get it to work.
