Gorgeous little getaway
8.0Beautifully decorated, gorgeous surrounds and great communication.
− Unfortunately, the wet weather interrupted our plans, so we settled in to watch a streaming service. Of no fault of these wonderful hosts, but the internet was unstable and kept dropping out which was a little frustrating. But we listened to records on the record player, which was lovely.

9.0Carefully curated decor, evoking continental Europe grace. Lots of interesting pictures and objects. Lovely garden and private patio. Helpful host. Excellent shower and high quality towels/bedding
− Rather cluttered. Not very easy to cook except breakfasts (we'd have been happy to eat out but the choice in Carterton on a Tuesday night was pretty limited! )

A stunning, tiny retreat on the edge of town, but easy walk to the centre
10.0A short distance to town made the location quiet (far enough away) but walkable so imbibing at a high quality restaurant on main street could be accompanied by alcohol. Garden and deck made a cold wettish stay still near idyllic
