− The lodge was disgusting when we arrived ,windows were filthy and covered in cob webs,front entrance was covered in dog poo bags and a baby's dirty nappy. The decking had dead birds on in the tables were think with dirt and asrtys full ov cigarette ends,inside carpets were filthy,windows full ov webs.wouldnt recommend anyone going near this place,we had to drive home same day with 2 young kids crying because there holiday was ruined.the guy adam who owns it is refusing to give us our money back because he said he sent cleaners down within a half hour which was a total lie because we were there for another 2 hours.even if he had sent cleaners down you still wouldn't have stayed in this pig sty.stay away from it folks.

Great weekend to recharge our battery
9.0Everything was really nice only bad thing once we arrived at 4pm we tried to put tv on in living room only to discover all batteries had been removed from remote and then checking one in bed room discover that was the same now we are definitely not blaming Andy owner but most likely people who stayed before us but not very fair as my husband had to then go buy some Andy did say he would order some to be delivered next day which was lovely but wanted to watch TV on Friday night again we don't blame Andy and in all fairness did not spoil our break away to the point we have already booked return visit in September
− Nothing everything was lovely the only suggestion I would have is maybe have Netflix on main TV in living room and not on bedroom
Revolting & disappointing. With every move we found something either dirty, dangerous or unkempt
2.0The location
− It was filthy, hanging wires and extension leads, broken chairs, filthy kitchen, dirty grill pan, frozen up freezer, dirty fridge, revolting hoover and mops. Hole in the bedroom floor, filthy skirting boards and revolting carpet in bedroom. Radiator broken, hanging extension lead. Dog and human hair in bed, dirty bedding on bed, blood stains on duvet in main room, shower tray black all round in the seal in the en suite, ripped sofa, light bulbs out, remote controls not working, toilet seat broken, bathroom grubby, no smoke alarm, no up to boiler service, last one visible was 2006. Grubby outside, decking green, cobwebs everywhere, windows filthy. This is the majority of things we didn’t like!! Having looked at previous reviews,( after our visit ) many of these issues have previously been reported and clearly nothing has been done to improve the state of the lodge. ** PLEASE READ REVIEWS BEFORE BOOKING ***
