Très bien situé, l'appartement est confortable et bien équipé. Il n'y a qu'une seule place de parking pour 2 appartements. Elle n'était pas disponible pour nous, mais ce n'est pas un réel problème. Il y a beaucoup de places dans la rue, payantes jusqu'à 19h seulement et on peut facilement contrôler le paiement par l'application Easypark. L'hôte Cristina est très gentille et accueillante et nous la remercions.

Cristine is a friendly host, generous with tips, and responds quickly. We were in the top appartment, which has a high ceiling. That gives a nice feeling of space around you. It was a very hot summer, and we were very very happy with the effective airconditioning in both bedrooms and the living room. Shopping: The lidl is 2 minutes walking away, and the Bennet (much bigger, with shopping mall) 7 minutes, which is very convenient. Cernobbio is nice, but you can't swim in the lake (although some people do it illegally in the harbor). You have to drive half an hour up the lake for nice free swimming spots (I recommend Leno and Ossuccio, look for the parking spaces 'above' the road, the ones down by the lake are always occupied). The Como lake area is surrounded by hills and mountains, and the views are stunningly beautiful. Don't miss the garden of Villa Balbianello (paid visit). In that garden scenes from Star Wars and James Bond were recorded, and you can shoot incredibly beautiful photos there.

− The appartment does not have a place to sit outside. And, we were lucky that we could have the parking space at the house. If the bottom appartment is rented out as well, you might need to pay for parking in the street. Airconditioning: Four people can sleep comfortably cool. Beds five and six are in a little attic that is reachable via a ladder in one of the bedrooms (which the kids found very fun), but this higher place is not cooled by the airconditioning. I have slept well there, but it was a bit warm and sweaty. Tip about the environment: I have driven by the lake a lot. That road offers beautiful views over the lake, but is narrow at some places, which can be stressful if trucks and buses are coming from the other direction.

Location is GREAT!! There is a local restaurant directly across the street (food and pizza was delicious), a grocery store on the other street, a bakery cafe about a quarter mile and numerous other pizza and restaurant locations within walking distance. Apt is also close to the lake area where you can take the ferry to other areas of lake Como. Apt was clean and had everything we needed for our stay.

− Hubby thought beds were kinda small *there are 4 twin beds within two bedrooms… beds were fine for me.
