We loved EVERYTHING about this place! It was super clean, the beds were so comfortable, the kitchen was conveniently stocked with everything you could need including plastic baggies and a huge spice collection! The hosts were very polite and easy to communicate with. They really thought of little things that you might have forgotten, like bug spray, sunscreen, shampoo, conditioner, etc. The decor of the home was very well thought out and beautiful. The living room with the tv was very relaxing. The room overlooking the backyard was neat with all of The Beatles artwork. A great place to have your morning coffee. The bathroom was clean, and the bathtub was huge with massaging jets! We really enjoyed hanging out in the backyard with fire pit. Plenty of dry firewood available. It was fun watching all of the black squirrels run around. A huge family of wild turkeys showed up in the front yard every morning. The neighbors were quiet. The WiFi worked perfectly. There was a collection of games available for all ages. We had fun! The shed was fully stocked with lawn chairs, a croquet set, bbq grill, and other fun things to do. After being there for 2 nights, I was already online to see if we could extend our stay! We were close to many rock hunting beaches, within a 20-30 minute drive. The area was really beautiful to explore! Everything about this place is great and we can't wait to go back!

Great price, quiet location

Friendly host. Very reasonable price for an accommodation that is about 30-40 minutes to Mackinaw City. Little tricky finding the key but once we entered the home, kitchen was big, lots of space and enough beds to sleep all 6 of us. Two bedrooms with one two-person bed each, one twin expandable bed in the closet and one sofa bed in the living room, plus little futon on the porch. Plenty of kitchen supplies and lovely yard. Not much to do in town, but a great place to sleep where quiet is guaranteed.

Place was spotless with very personal touches, even the bedding smelled like fresh laundry! All the amenities from home were provided, very comfortable furniture We loved bringing our utv and being able to ride the trails from the house. Took one morning to walk the nature trail at black mountain. Definitely would stay here again!

− We may have missed it, but a wine opener would be helpful.
