10.0Fantastic contemporary house that was comfortable, thoughfully furnished and had lovely views. Loved the heated floors in the bathrooms and the wood burning fireplace.
− Nothing, coudnt fault it.
A wonderful base to explore the stunning Freycinet peninsula. Would recommend without hesitation
10.0Awesome location. Lovely home. Extremely comfortable and beautifully presented
Beautiful accommodation in idyllic location
10.0Baden House is located in our favourite little corner of Tasmania, Coles Bay. The house is located in Swanwick which is a short drive from the main part of Coles Bay. Sandpiper Beach and Great Oyster Bay can be viewed from the living area. It is a short walk at the end of the street down to Sandpiper Beach. The house is beautifully finished, and the bathrooms were stunning. Upstairs, the kitchen was fully equipped ready for you to cook anything for the family. Large kitchen island bench to allow plenty of preparation space. Dining table that seated 8 and a comfy couch in front of the Fireplace. Large flatscreen TV complements the living area. There is a telescope setup to view the surrounding coastline or the stars perhaps. There are 2 bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs. Downstairs has a large laundry with Washing Machine and dryer, and a toilet, and then there is the main bedroom with a huge ensuite with shower, bath and vanity, all beautifully finished. Outside was an area for you to entertain with a bbq, and a pull out clothesline if you need to do some washing. Coles Bay is a short drive down the road where you will find Iluka Tavern, General Stores, Geographe Pizza Restaurant, The Icecreamery just to name a few. Coles Bay is where you catch the Wineglass Bay Cruise, or you can catch a Pennicott Water Taxi out to Hazards Beach or Cooks Beach. A little further on from Coles Bay takes you into the National Park where you can walk the track up to the Wineglass Bay lookout, walk down to Wineglass Bay Beach, walk the isthmus track from Wineglass Bay Beach to Hazards Beach, then you can either walk the Hazards Beach track back to Coles Bay, or organise a Pennicott Water Taxi back…so much to enjoy in this region whilst enjoying your beautiful accommodation. Would definitely stay in Baden House again.

5.0- Location is good and quiet - House looks pretty new and nice - Have both separate washing machine and dryer is a godsend
− - No heater in 2 of the rooms. - Unable to check in earlier than 3pm though the place is pretty much isolated (though it is very beautiful and near to beach) - Water pressure is inconsistent (sometimes is is really bad and 30 secs later it is good) - Unable to use the fireplace facility (as per picture) though it is abit chilly in the summer - apparently only for winter period.

Felt misled by photographs and patronised by the Freycinet Luxury Hosts team.
4.0− Photographs of view were misleading and Freycinet Luxury Hosts team advised that we had been given a discount for this even though we were advised of the ‘building work’ some months after payment of deposit and there was no indication of any ‘building work’ at the time the deposit was made. The ‘building work’ was in fact a house built in front which blocked the view. I felt patronised by the Freycinet Luxury hosts team when subsequently enquiring about the discount and was then sent inaccurate information. The house itself is comfortable, however, excessive wind noise through the building structure made it difficult to sleep on the first night.
