9.0The sun terrace and location were great
− It wasn’t really a problem and I knew there wasn’t one but a freezer compartment in the fridge would be good
Lovely place in a lovely location would definitely try to book again next time we are looking to stay in the area and th
8.0The location the whole place was clean and the value for what we got was spot on
− The bed wasn’t the most comfortable that was the he only issue in the house the garden area could do with cutting back you don’t get the views with the bushes growing so tall
A good base for a weekend break.
8.0It was clean and had everything I needed for a short weekend stay, and the price was very good. Great WiFi and use of Netflix and BBC iPlayer accounts were much appreciated. Also enjoyed having a TV in the bedroom! The owner communicated well and made check in and out very easy. The area is lovely, I didn't visit the pub a few doors down but it seemed to be quite popular of an evening! Overall I had a good stay here and would recommend to use as a base for a short break if you're not looking for absolute luxury.
− It was a little cold, and the only radiator I could get to work (upstairs) didn't give out much heat. This wasn't enough of an issue to bother the owner with as I was only there for two nights, and there were blankets and a fan heater, but perhaps some instructions on the heating would be useful for those staying longer? In the kitchen there is no freezer, luckily I didn't bring anything that needed it, but might also be worth noting. Bathroom has some mould and damp, which isn't a surprise given that the house is backed by a rock face! Probably just needs a little redecorating.
Snug home in a beautiful location.
10.0I stayed here for a recent recce of an ultra marathon I’m participating in next month. It was well located to access Dôl Idris on my first day and Barmouth for the second day. It’s a cute little home, well looked after with the amenities you could wish for. The host was very responsive when I booked and couldn’t do enough for me. It’s ideal for couple and lone travellers and would definitely stay in the future if I needed to.
