Gorgeous view. Very convenient for Dominical and Dominicalito.
9.0This is a beautiful property with an astounding view! It is up a steep hill, but does not require a 4x4. It is close enough to walk to Dominicalito beach (access road to the beach is directly across the highway from the road to the community). However, it is so steep, (and hot and humid) that we drove to the beach each time. (Beach parking is along a dirt road amongst the palm trees and runs parallel to the beach.) The community is gated, with a person to open the gate, seemingly 24/7. The house has a wonderful covered patio that we used often and A/C in the upstairs and the two downstairs bedrooms. The bunkbed lives in a large connecting area between the two bedrooms. It does not have its own window or A/C, so it can get hot and stuffy if the doors to the bedrooms are not left open to circulate the cold air from the A/C during the day. There is a small standing fan, but we didn't need to use it. The kitchen is well-appointed and the couch, chair, and dining table and chairs were all comfortable. We got many brown-outs when we tried to run the A/C on high. Once we turned it to low fan, it worked just fine.
− The microwave oven worked for 20 seconds. Then it shut-off and we could never get it to work again. That was OK with us. I contacted management on the last day of our stay so they could fix it for the next visitors, but I never heard back from them. So I'm not sure communication is very good with the management company. Also, the lights over the top of the stairs did not work. That made traversing the stairs at night dangerous--we had to use the lights from our phones. Again, never heard back from the management company. These were minor complaints though, that did not detract much from our enjoyment of this property.

Best place! Stunning and full of convenience

Most amazing views, fantastic appliances (washing and dryer especially), absolutely well equipped kitchen, the en-suite bathrooms are stylish and have lots of hot water, beds are comfortable, many towels are provided, Kevin and his team are proactively looking out for the guests and the toaster was exchanged immediately. Stunning place! We would have stayed longer, but had already booked a place on the Peninsula de Osa. We liked it so much, we would have happily moved in!! 🥰
