Overall our stay was fantastic apart from daughter in law getting carpet burns on her back from her stair mishap, fortun
9.0Location, cleanliness, facilities, kitchen and appliances.
− Stairs from attic conversion need a health warning, my son and his wife both came down in bare feet and slid on the carpet all the way to the bottom within minutes of each other. The design is very poor going up is fine but the overhang going down gives you a much reduced area to put your feet on and bare feet or socks is a no no. It is best to come down in reverse or side ways. The chairs and couch are very uncomfortable and could be corrected in the short term by replacing the cushion fillings with firm foam or another filler.
Just a really nice peaceful relaxing stay with miles off walks on the estate

Perfect get away from everything
9.0Secluded location with no visible neighbors, beautifully located in the countryside. Lots of room for a couple or up to four people. Well equipped modern kitchen.
− Trash cans were half full on arrival and were not emptied during the seven days we stayed there.

10.0My friend and I loved the tranquillity and natural beauty of the location, the well equipped kitchen, the lovely beds and bedding and the log fire, plentifully supplied with kindling, logs etc. Also, we were impressed by the immediate response to a small issue we had connecting to the wifi, with the estate manager coming out in person immediately to deal with it, although it was out of hours, followed up by a phone call the following day to check everything was ok. We didn't want to come home! Hoping to book again next year.
