The worst place we have ever stayed 😭

Absolutely nothing!

− My whole family ended up with Hayfever just walking into the house. It smelt and looked like the house hasn't been touched for a very long time. The bed sheets were mouldy. The tiles in shower were slimy. The side door had a door stopper holding it shut because it was broken, anyone was able to enter via the side house. Dust pile up on all fans. Food bits on kitchen bins. Furniture was broken and very old. ( nothing like the pics!) We arrived after 17hrs on the road and was mourning our grandmother 😭 i rand the host and sent her photos of the property and was very upset at the state of the property 😢 i was too tired to leave and mentally couldn't deal with everything. The Host told us that the photos i sent was not that bad and if i had a complaint then contact booking.com ! If i wasn't mourning the death of my grandmother, i would've left straight away ! We literally just came back for a couple of hours every day and tried to stay at our families house for as long as we could 🥺 i really hope that no one else has to go through what just did 😔 i will try and upload some photos for proof.

Nice back deck, it did come with some rats at nighttime

− The property is extremely mouldy and damp, the living room ceiling has water from sitting in the ceiling. We stayed to nights and left due to the terrible damp Smell. We paid for 5 nights and left early as we could not be in the property. There was a dehumidifier running which I emptied serval times. We ended up booking a room through BASE at Ettalong in the Mantra.

Cute old beach house, nice space, great location, in need of some TLC & improved cleaning .

Cute older beach house, Location is great ,close to restaurants and waterways. We loved the big trees in and around the property.

− In need of repairs and upkeep, needs a good deep clean

Old and dirty. Company doesn't care. Don't Book This Place.

The layout of the house was good. Very open from front to back. The area out the back was nice and large. The kitchen is well equiped. Was only a short walk to the water for a swim.

− Some of the furniture, bathroom fittings and parts of the back deck are damaged and are dangerous. Some of the linen was very dirty and stained. The whole place needs a really good clean. After our stay I gave this feedback to the host but they said that as my stay was over there was nothing they could do. Hopefully they repair things for the next visitor. At nearly $1000 a night I expected more.

Was very disappointed with the quality of this property for the high price.

− There was no air conditioning that worked and was in one bedroom only. The tap in the main bathroom was broken. The front bedroom on the porch was not suitable. Couldn’t open ensuite door to get airflow. Bbq was filthy

House is a bit tired and overpriced

The location was good as close proximity to cafes, restaurants and beach no need to drive The main bedroom and ensuite were nice mas was the kitchen as they had all been renovated.

− As soon as you open the door it has an old house smell about it as it an old fibro type home that has been somewhat renovated. Very old dirty outdoor furniture. The fans never cleaned and had a thick coat of dust. The outside bedroom was small and the windows rattled all night in the wind would be way too hot to sleep in summer. No flyscreens anywhere or exhaust fans in the bathrooms.
