Well furnished clean cottage - low doorways and low headroom on the stairs should be pointed out and signs put up. NOT c

Clean and comfortable

The low ceilings with no warning signs - the incorrect description of distance to the beach - clearly not walking distance.

Delightful cottage, we’d be happy to come again 🩷

10.0

Lovely little cottage: comfortable furniture, stylish decor and super-clean. Well-equipped with everything we needed - we loved the sun-trap patio - and so close to our favourite coastal path. The ‘Welcome pack’ snacks and the deli voucher were very much appreciated too. Thanks so much, No33 team!

Nothing not to like. Main road traffic might have been an issue, but wasn’t!

Cosy cottage in lovely area

7.0

Welcome hamper. Instructions beforehand and cottage book with info. Two parking spaces, one of which off-road. Small but nice kitchen diner and courtyard area for sitting outside. Small but comfortable sitting room.

Five of the eight doorways were a bump hazard for me (a 6-footer) -I failed the test a few times! Kitchen diner was nice and bright, but on a hot summer day it becomes a sauna if you close everything when you go out. This is because of a very large window in the ceiling which doesn't slope down much, so despite the room being north facing, the sun comes in for many hours. The window needs a blind, then the downside for this pleasant room will be removed. It was a little expensive for what it offered although I appreciate prices are generally very high in this area.

Lovely Norfolk weekend

8.0

The cottage was quaint, the rooms were nicely decorated, the back patio area was lovely and sunny with a patio set, very private in the garden, the cottage is quite close on a road busy at times but didn't affect us with any noise, The cottage is situated perfectly for some lovely walks, near a beautiful church, farm shop and cafes also a brilliant restaurant the white horse which served lots of fresh seafood, the crab shack seafood stall was a 2 minute walk away as was the jolly sailor pub, across from the church was a range of small independent shops and a lovely farm shop attached to the fuel station. Within easy range of Wells next to the sea, Blakeney seal point and Sheringham.

Stairs, stairs, stairs! Having looked a some past reviews which in hindsight would have been better for us the stairs to this property are so steep, narrow and the tread depth is bad for anyone with any mobility issues, my 80 Yr old parents ( who are still mobile enough walking) struggled nightly to get upstairs, I was worried they'd tumble so was very concerned every time they'd need to go up, luckily the bathroom is downstairs so this lessened the need to climb them, I know this is the nature of some cottages and theres not much can be done to make them better, but I do think Booking. Com and the owners need to state in the information that the stairs are unsuitable for those with less mobility issues old or young or even small children would find them hard to get up, if my parents had been less mobile we would have come a long way on holiday and they would've have not been able to acsess their bedroom.
