We loved everything about this property and our stay. Kate was amazing, great communication and left lovely little touches in the cottage to make our stay even more special. Would definitely recommend and book again.

Relaxing bank holiday weekend in beautiful Millrace cottage

Lovely little cottage on the river Holme, beautifully restored & furnished, immaculately clean & stocked with everything we needed plus some nice little extra touches like fresh bread & milk when we arrived, logs & kindling for the log burner, bathrobes in the bathroom. Kate was so helpful with her recommendations for the area & kept us well informed about our arrival process & parking. Lovely shortish (20 min) walk mostly along the river into Holmfirth or slightly longer walks heading up Holme valley & around the reservoirs. Enjoyed sitting out on the balcony over the river listening to the water & birds singing.

Cottage was amazing great location. Host kept in touch and was so helpful. Lovely walk along the river to the town . Would deffo stay here again

Perfect weekend getaway.

Great little cottage, super cozy with the fire place, well stocked kitchen and easy access to the Peak District. Great communication with Kate who was very helpful providing ideas for the area.
